Our Purpose
The purpose of the Alpaca Llama Show Association is to promote llamas and alpacas. Since 1986, ALSA has been working hard to ensure that we accomplish our goals. We achieve our purpose in six core ways.
- Enhancing the visibility of llamas and alpacas.
- Showing the versatility of llamas and alpacas.
- Establishing guidelines for shows.
- Educating, approving, and regulating show Judges.
- Awarding recognition of champion llamas and alpacas in a regional, national, and international show system and recording points for llamas and alpacas.
- Educating the community in soundness, conformation, and fiber, in competitive show skills and show management.
